Definition / meaning of FEC Regimen

A chemotherapy regimen consisting of fluorouracil, epirubicin and cyclophosphamide used in the adjuvant setting for the primary treatment of breast cancer. This regimen is also used for the treatment of recurrent and metastatic breast cancer. (NCI Thesaurus)
